How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us — including the confidentiality of recruiting inquiries.

Overview

Uplend.careers (“Uplend,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is the recruiting site of V.I.P. Mortgage, Inc. (NMLS #145502). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors and candidates, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

  • Application + recruiting data: name, email, phone, NMLS, state(s) licensed, current employer, production tier, and any information you voluntarily submit through our forms (Talk to a Recruiter, Apply, lead-magnet downloads).
  • Newsletter signups: email address only (no NMLS or shop info required).
  • Analytics: standard web-analytics data (page views, referrer, device, approximate location) collected via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, only after you grant cookie consent.
  • Cookies: functional cookies for session and consent state; analytics cookies fire only after consent.

How we use it

  • Route applicant and recruiting inquiries to the appropriate Uplend recruiter.
  • Send career-related communications you explicitly subscribe to (e.g., The LO Insider newsletter).
  • Improve our website, content, and recruiting process.
  • Comply with applicable employment, mortgage-licensing, and consumer-protection law.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it only with: (a) employees of V.I.P. Mortgage, Inc. who participate in our recruiting process, and (b) trusted service providers (HubSpot for CRM, Google for analytics, etc.) under data-processing agreements. We may disclose information when legally required.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@uplend.careers. California, Colorado, and other state-residents have additional rights under applicable privacy law (CCPA, CPA, etc.).

Confidentiality of recruiting inquiries

If you submit a Talk to a Recruiter inquiry, your information is treated as confidential within our recruiting team and is not shared with your current employer or anyone outside Uplend without your explicit consent. Pre-call NDAs available on request.

Retention

We retain recruiting inquiries for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion. Newsletter subscriptions retained until you unsubscribe.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with the effective date below.
